Dorel Industries Posts Higher Q2 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Dorel Industries Inc.'s (DII_A.TO, DII_B.TO) second-quarter 2014 net income totaled $15.2 million or $0.47 per share, a 14.9% increase from $13.2 million or $0.41 per share, reported a year before.

Total revenue for the quarter was up 9.2% to $655.8 million, from $600.4 million last year.

In addition, Dorel's board declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.30 per share on the outstanding number of the company's Class A Multiple Voting Shares, Class B Subordinate Voting Shares, Deferred Share Units and cash-settled Performance Share Units. The dividend is payable on September 3 to shareholders of record as at the close of business on August 20, 2014.
