DRS Codem Systems, a unit of DRS Technologies, Inc.,today introduced the CDF-9200 Series of direction finding (DF)processors and antennas, which provide a low-cost, versatile andhigh-performance radio frequency (RF) signal location solution formany applications, including surveillance and intelligence, frequencyregulatory enforcement, and frequency control and analysis (FCA) forrange monitoring, military, maritime patrol, civilian intelligence andcommercial functions. DRS's direction finding systems may be utilizedin stand-alone deployments or larger signal collection and locationsystems.

The CDF-9200 Series operates in the HF, VHF and UHF frequencyspectrums, with broad frequency coverage between 500 kHz to 3 GHz.There are many standard and optional features that include globalpositioning system (GPS) for enhanced signal location and mapping.Signal analysis capability includes waterfall and narrowband signalspectral displays and line of bearing (LOB) histograms.
