EchoStar Corp. Reports Loss In Q2 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - EchoStar Corp. (SATS), a provider of satellite operations and video delivery solutions, Tuesday said its second-quarter net loss attributable to EchoStar shareholders was $9.8 million or $0.11 per share compared with net profit of $35.7 million or $0.41 per share during the same quarter last year.

On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected loss of $0.08 per share for the second quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Total revenues for the three-month period increased to $830 million, from $806 million generated during the corresponding quarter previous year.
