EI DuPont De Nemours & Co. Profit Advances 155% In Q3

(RTTNews) - EI DuPont De Nemours & Co. (DD) announced earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $298 million, or $0.34 per share. This was higher than $117 million, or $0.13 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.21 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.0% to $4.92 billion. This was up from $4.87 billion last year.
