EV Energy Partners Q3 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - EV Energy Partners, L.P. (EVEP) reported that its third-quarter net loss narrowed to $12.31 million, from a loss of $50.02 million, last year. Net loss per limited partner unit was $0.29, compared to a loss of $1.15, prior year.

The loss for the quarter included: $16.5 million of unrealized losses on commodity and interest rate derivatives, $0.5 million of non-cash realized losses related to terminated interest rate swaps, $1.2 million of dry hole and exploration costs, $4.3 million of non-cash costs contained in general and administrative expenses, and $0.1 million of non-cash leasehold impairment charges.

On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.28 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenues rose to $81.41 million, from $68.70 million, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $87.78 million, for the quarter.
