F5 Expands Free Global Access to "BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager Essentials” Training Course

F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:FFIV), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced the availability of its popular BIG-IP® Local Traffic Manager Essentials web-based training course in six languages. The no-cost, web-based training program is designed to provide easy access to online education in the fundamentals of BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM®).

Now available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French, and German, LTM Essentials training is accessible wherever there is Internet access. LTM Essentials is a complete course plus lab, with the same curriculum as F5’s instructor-led course, and covers installation, licensing, and basic configuration. In addition to current customers and partners, LTM Essentials also enables a wide range of audiences to explore and better understand the fundamentals of BIG-IP LTM.

"Unlike many training courses that offer just a basic overview, LTM Essentials is designed to give students a very strong foundation, taking them from an overview to successfully installing and implementing BIG-IP LTM—without additional training fees, travel time, and costs,” said Beth Naczkowski, Director of Worldwide Customer Education at F5. "Additionally, organizations have no limit to the number of staff that can access training materials, so entire teams can get up to speed on the basics very quickly at no added cost.”

Individual training times will vary, but the self-paced course is designed to be completed in 16 hours. Students can log in to the class and take as much or as little as they need. There is no limit on the number of times a student can take the training, and any portion can be taken as a refresher at any time. Student questions are answered quickly via discussion forum and email.
