FalconStor Expands Executive Team With Technology Strategist and Product Development Veteran
FalconStor Software, Inc. (OTCQB: FALC), which provides the world's only hardware-agnostic software platform for comprehensive data management, today announced the appointment of David Morris to its global executive team as vice president of global product strategy and marketing. Morris will manage an international team of product development and marketing professionals to capitalize on emerging storage and data management opportunities by leveraging FalconStor's award-winning products, its trove of intellectual property, and its capacity for innovation.
Morris has spent 25 years developing and delivering pioneering compute, networking, storage, and data management products and services. His expertise includes developing new technology strategies and creating new products to help enterprise and startup companies maneuver through significant market shifts. Before FalconStor, he most recently worked in the emerging container virtualization market as vice president of strategy and marketing. Morris has also served in various senior strategy, product development, and marketing positions at EMC, VMware, Pillar Data, and Huawei. His successes include creating the high-performance NAS market, conceiving the Tier 3 utility storage market, and pivoting into the emerging enterprise eDiscovery market.
