Ferro Explores Possible Strategic Alternatives - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Ferro Corp. (FOE) said its board of directors is exploring possible strategic alternatives for the company to enhance shareholder value.

However, the company has not made any decision to engage in a transaction or transactions resulting from the board's exploration of strategic alternatives. The company also said there can be no assurance that any transaction will occur or, if undertaken, the terms or timing thereof.

The company has retained Lazard Frères & Co. as its financial advisor.

Ferro is a functional coatings and color solutions company that supplies technology-based performance materials, including glass-based coatings, pigments and colors, and polishing materials. The Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based company has about 4,860 employees globally and reported 2015 sales of $1.1 billion.
