Financial Engines Q2 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Financial Engines Inc (FNGN) Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $10.1 million or $0.19 per share, up from $6.3 million or $0.05 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings increased to $0.25 per share from $0.16 per share last year.

Revenue increased 21 percent to $69.8 million from $57.8 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.22 per share on revenues of $69.88 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Moving ahead, the company estimates full-year revenues of $277 million to $282 million, up from prior estimate of $276 million to $281 million. Analysts currently estimate revenues of $282.85 million.
