Fiona P. Dias Named Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and

RICHMOND, Va., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Circuit City Stores, Inc. today announced that Fiona P. Dias has been named senior vice president, chief marketing officer and retains the title of president Circuit City Direct.

Dias, 39, joined Circuit City in 2000 as senior vice president -- marketing. She was named president of Circuit City Direct in 2003. Before joining the company, she was chief marketing officer at Stick Networks, Inc., a wireless software company, during 2000; vice president -- marketing and development for the Frito-Lay Company, from 1999 to 2000; and vice president of corporate development at Pennzoil Quaker State Company, from 1996 to 1999. Prior to 1996, she held various brand management positions with The Procter and Gamble Company.

"In her new role, Fiona will combine her expertise in marketing with her very successful leadership of Circuit City Direct, facilitating the development of our multi-channel strategy," said Philip J. Schoonover, president of Circuit City Stores, Inc.
