Founder of Jess Moore Law, PLLC Joins Texas Bar College Honorary Legal Society
AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Texas Bar College congratulates Dallas lawyer on his membership as a Fellow in the College of the State Bar of Texas. Licensed as an attorney in 1991, Moore owns , a boutique law firm that focuses on real estate, business formation, estate and succession planning for entrepreneurs, family businesses, and small to mid-sized companies. He's also a principal in Beth and Jess Moore Properties.

In the legal services industry, Jess Moore is known as co-founder and CEO of one of the first companies in the U.S. to provide contract/temporary attorneys to global law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. In the early 1990's, he expanded operations of the largest privately-held alternative dispute resolution (ADR) company in the U.S. beyond California to Texas, Georgia and the East Coast. Financed by the private equity firm Warburg Pincus, the expansion primed the company for its acquisition of the second largest ADR provider in the U.S.
Very early in his career, Moore was appointed Director of Jury Services for Dallas County, the only county in Texas in which the oversight of the jury system was not then vested in the elected office of District Clerk. During his tenure, Moore under the governance of a judicial board, converted the fifth largest jury system in the nation to the one-day/one-trial and standby juror formats used today.
Moore is a graduate of , where he's served on the school's Board of Visitors. He received a Master in Public Administration from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. degree from Centenary College of Louisiana. He's held senior advisory roles in judicial, gubernatorial, and congressional campaigns. In an adjunct capacity, he's taught college courses on Texas and American politics. Moore is a former board director of McKinney Avenue Transit Authority of Dallas (M-Line Trolley), and a member of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics.
The Texas Bar College, the only organization in the United States formed for its purpose, is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas. It was chartered by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1981 to recognize attorneys who maintain and enhance their professional skills and the quality of their service to the public. The College also sponsors educational activities of significant merit and widespread relevance to the legal profession.
