FuelCell Energy Posts Wider Q3 Net Loss

(RTTNews) - FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FCEL) reported a net loss attributable for the third quarter of $7.8 million or $0.03 per share, compared to a net loss of $6.4 million or $0.03 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding the non-cash embedded derivative adjustment of $0.1 million associated with conversions of Senior Unsecured Convertible notes, the adjusted net loss for the latest quarter was $7.7 million or $0.03 per share.

Total revenues for the third quarter fell to $43.2 million from $53.7 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.03 per share on revenue of $53.64 million for the third quarter.
