G&K Services Appoints Kevin Fancey As President Of G&K Services Canada

(RTTNews) - G&K Services Inc. (GK) announced that it has appointed Kevin Fancey as President of G&K Services Canada, succeeding Robert Wood, who has served as President of G&K Services Canada since 1998. Wood will continue serving G&K as Chairman of G&K Services Canada through June 2014, after which time he will assume a senior advisory role with the company.

Fancey joined G&K Services Canada as President Designate in August 2013. Fancey brings nearly 20 years of experience as a leader in service-focused businesses in Canada. Prior to joining G&K, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Coinamatic Group of Companies. He has also held senior leadership positions at Ricoh Canada, Chubb Security Systems Canada, and Pitney Bowes of Canada.

Wood joined G&K Services in 1995. He served as a General Manager and Regional Vice President, before being named President of G&K Services Canada in 1998. Wood established a corporate culture centered on customer service, employee empowerment and engagement, which contributed to G&K being named one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada for the past ten consecutive years.
