Titus Makin Jr., Nathan Kress, Adam Cagley and Dana de la Garza star as teen game designers in a lighthearted "techy" drama, "Game of Your Life" along with Lea Thompson on Friday, December 2 at 8/7c on NBC. When gamer Zach Taylor (Titus Makin Jr.) lands a scholarship to an exclusive video game design program, his future looks promising...as long as he can survive the freshmen project. When college freshman Zach Taylor (Titus Makin Jr., "Glee” and "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song”) lands a scholarship to the prestigious Digital Institute of Game Design led by billionaire gaming icon Marcus Bentton (Tom Nowicki, "The Blind Side”), his future takes a promising turn. That is, as long as he can survive the infamous freshmen project that eliminates more than half of the class within the first three months.
Teaming up with a determined group leader Sara, (Dana De La Garza, "Knight Rider”) and his brilliant, yet socially awkward, roommates, Phillip (Nathan Kress, "iCarly”) and Donald (Adam Cagley, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and "Good Luck Charlie”), the team sets out to involve the entire campus in a quirky new social interactive game. As the project intensifies, however, Zach learns that his widowed father is in financial trouble. Distracted and desperate to help, he accepts an opportunity to work with Bentton on a secretive and suspicious side project that seems too good to be true.
Zach finds himself stretched to his limits and torn between his responsibility to the team and his desire to help his father. With nowhere else to turn, he confides in Professor Abbie Lambert (Lea Thompson, currently on "Switched at Birth” and best known for "Back to the Future,” and "Caroline in the City,” and she is in the recently released "J. Edgar”) and is forced to make a decision that will affect his future and the lives of everyone around him.
P&G and Walmart Family Movie Night films have been welcomed into millions of homes across America and "Game of Your Life” is the ninth movie in the Family Movie Night initiative.
