Grubb & Ellis Expands Service Offerings with Addition of Brad Reese as Managing Director, Corporate Real Estate Finance

CHICAGO, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Grubb & Ellis Company , one of the nation's leading providers of integrated real estate services, today announced that as part of its strategic initiative to better serve its corporate clients it has named Brad Reese, Managing Director, Corporate Real Estate Finance, effective immediately. Based in the Company's Atlanta office, Reese brings 24 years of experience in corporate real estate financing, allowing Grubb & Ellis to offer comprehensive real estate financing solutions to its clients throughout the country.

Under Reese's leadership, Grubb & Ellis will provide comprehensive financing services, including sale-leasebacks and build-to-suit financing as well as a wide range of financing structures. Corporate clients will also benefit from Reese's established relationships with a variety of funding sources, including pension funds, insurance companies, foreign and domestic banks, private investors and real estate investment trusts.

Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Reese owned the Atlanta-based consulting firm, Real Capital Advisors. Earlier, he spent 23 years with Carter & Associates. During his tenure at Carter & Associates, he was named Partner in 1997 and was in charge of the Company's capital markets practice.

During his career, Reese has structured and arranged more than $1 billion in real estate financing transactions for some of America's leading companies, including BellSouth, Progress Energy, AT&T, Price WaterhouseCoopers, and SunTrust.

Since Dils assumed leadership of Grubb & Ellis' Atlanta office in January 2005, the Company has significantly expanded its presence in this important market. Over the past, 20 months the Atlanta office has added 11 brokers, including Mike Warren from Carter & Associates, Buddy Hill and Allen Brown from Advantis and Kay Davis from Newmark. In addition, corporate real estate veteran Char Fortune joined the Corporate Services Group in April 2006. The office has also been instrumental in winning several key national business relationships.

Reese holds a bachelor's degree from Georgia State University. He is a CPA and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties' Capital Markets Forum and Industry Trends Task Force. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
