Healthcare Services Profit In Line With Estimates, Revenue Misses

(RTTNews) - Healthcare Services Group Inc (HCSG) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net earnings of $16.3 million or $0.23 per share compared with $13.9 million or $0.20 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter were $355.4 million compared with $319.3 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.23 per share on revenues of $360.5 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.17875 per common share.

Healthcare Services provides management and operating services to the housekeeping, facility maintenance, and dietary service departments to nursing homes, retirement complexes and hospitals.
