Heavy Duty Trucks in San Antonio Flex it Out at Ingram Park CDJ
SAN ANTONIO, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Two of the most brawny vehicles in the automotive industry are going grille-to-grille at Ingram Park CDJ. The 2013 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty vs 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty is a battle of muscle, versatility, and resilience, and both vehicles definitely excel in each category. The vehicles could be hauling heavy loads or taking travels off road, and their unwavering performances could handle it all. When matched up against one another, however, the new Ram in San Antonio TX has more of what drivers need from a full-on pickup.

Both trucks offer their own strengths. The 2013 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty delivers a best-in-class maximum towing capacity of 30,000 pounds while the 2013 Ford F-350 Super Duty earns a best-in-class 400 horsepower. The Ram trails slightly behind the F-350, but it still earns up to 385 horsepower and is projected to earn up to 410 horsepower in its upcoming 2014 model.
The 2013 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty can be equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine, one of the automaker's most powerful engine options, which can pump out up to 850 lb-ft of torque. That strength can be put towards the truck's massive towing capacity, and with the available Aisin AS69RC six-speed automatic transmission, the truck can handle hauls smoother and more efficiently. The Ford F-350 Super Duty is available with the 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine, which earns the truck 800 lb-ft of torque and an equally clean, quiet performance as the 3500.
Both vehicles make every mile and gallon of fuel count, but the 2013 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty offers both strength and versatility. The 3500 will earn a fourth powertrain option that truly allows drivers to customize their drive with their ideal amount of power. Having the freedom to choose how much strength can be used makes even the largest tasks seem more manageable.
The two trucks are some of the toughest on the road to date, but the 2013 Ram 3500 Heavy Duty comes out on top at Ingram Park CDJ. Test drive the new Ram in San Antonio TX today.
