"We are introducing Viking Cylinders directly to the propane user. Our products make the activities that require propane more enjoyable. Whether it's carrying propane to a remote campsite, down to the boat, along to your favorite tailgate or simply to your BBQ grill, a Viking Cylinder will make it easier and more enjoyable. We are confident that once a consumer uses our product, they will never go back to the steel propane tank," says Frederic Gaussen, Global Sales & Marketing Director, Hexagon Ragasco.
Viking Cylinders are made using a patented process that results in a propane cylinder that is over 50% lighter than a steel propane tank. The use of composite material also makes Viking Cylinders translucent. Consumers appreciate the translucency feature as it allows them to see the liquid propane level. This reduces the risk of running out of propane in the middle of a cookout.
Hexagon Ragasco is the undisputed market leader in composite LPG cylinders. Approved for use in over 40 countries and trusted by families and business alike, there are approximately 8 million cylinders in service worldwide. The US, Canada and Caribbean markets will be serviced by a new facility centrally located in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA.
A rapidly expanding retail network will make Viking Cylinders available in over 200 retailers by January 2014. Learn more at www.vikingcylinders.com.
