Hexcel Corp. Profit Climbs 6% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Hexcel Corp. (HXL) revealed a profit for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $65.5 million, or $0.71 per share. This was higher than $61.6 million, or $0.65 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.68 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.8% to $491.5 million. This was down from $500.5 million last year.
