Higher One Names Marc Sheinbaum President & CEO, Succeeding Mark Volchek

(RTTNews) - Higher One Holdings, Inc. (ONE), a provider of financial services and data analytics to colleges and universities, announced the appointment of Marc Sheinbaum as its President and Chief Executive, effective April 16. He replaces the Company Co-Founder, Mark Volchek, who would be working with Sheinbaum to ensure a smooth transition.

Meanwhile, Volchek would stay on the Board of Directors and Sheinbaum would join the board as an additional member.

Sheinbaum joins Higher One after heading JPMorgan Chase's auto and student loan business as President and Chief Executive for 6 years. Earlier to this, Sheinbaum has spent 15 years at GE in its consumer finance business, serving as GE Money Services' President and Chief Executive.
