Hill-Rom Holdings Q3 Profit Flat, EPS Rises - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. (HRC) Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $23.4 million, flat with last year. On a per-share basis, earnings improved to $0.39 from $0.37 last year.
Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $42.6 million or $0.49 per share. On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.49 per share for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.
Revenues improved 4 percent to $424 million from $406.5 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $424.40 million.
Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the company has forecast earnings in the range of $0.59 to $0.61 per share, with revenues ranging between $435 million and $440 million. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $0.60 per share on revenues of $445.50 million for the fourth quarter.
For the fiscal year 2013, the company currently projects earnings in the range of $2.04 to $2.06 per share, up from previous guidance range of $2.03 to $2.09 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $2.05 per share.
