Icahn Enterprises Q4 Profit Spikes - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP) Thursday reported a sharp surge in fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company to $222 million, or $1.90 per LP unit, from last year's $6 million, or $0.05 per LP unit.

On the other hand, quarterly adjusted EBITDA attributable to Icahn Enterprises was $282 million, versus $331 million in the fourth quarter 2012.

For the fourth quarter of 2013, revenues were $4.9 billion, an increase, compared with $4.3 billion in the 2012 period.

On February 25, 2014, the board of the general partner of Icahn Enterprises declared a quarterly distribution in the amount of $1.50 per depositary unit increasing its annualized distribution from $5.00 to $6.00.
