IDreamSky Technology Turns To Profit In Q2 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - iDreamSky Technology Limited (DSKY), China's leading independent mobile game publishing platform, reported that its net income attributable to the Company's ordinary shareholders for the second quarter of 2015 was RMB 21.8 million or US$3.5 million compared to net loss attributable to the Company's ordinary shareholders of RMB209.5 million for the second quarter of 2014.

Net income per ADS for the second quarter of 2015 were RMB0.48 or US$0.08, compared to net loss per ADS of RMB20.44 in the second quarter of 2014.

Adjusted net income per ADS for the second quarter was RMB1.16 or US$0.20, compared to adjusted net loss per ADS of RMB5.92 in the prior year.

Total revenues for the second quarter of 2015 were RMB392.7 million or US$63.3 million, representing an increase of 109.8% from RMB187.2 million for the second quarter of 2014.

The year-over-year increase in second quarter of 2015 total revenues were primarily due to the significant increase in game revenues as a result of the continued popularity of the Company's existing games, its enhanced game portfolio and effective monetization strategies.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.19 per share and revenues of $61.58 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
