InCommunity 2019 Spring Benefit Gala
ATLANTA, Feb. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- InCommunity, Georgia's largest provider of services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, is hosting its 31st Annual Spring Benefit Gala on Saturday, April 27th at the gorgeous Loew's Atlanta Hotel in Midtown. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a seated dinner, specialty cocktails and an evening of entertainment provided by Lulu the Giant and a Live DJ. This year's event will feature the wonderful master auctioneer, Dean Crownover.

The fundraising proceeds will go directly to support the individuals with developmental disabilities that InCommunity supports. Last year's Gala was a great success, hosting more than 400 people and raising over $300,000. We would like to thank this year's Gala Chairs, Bill and Shirley Abernathy, Mark and Kay Lewington and Brent and Anita Atkinson for stepping up to host this grand event.
InCommunity is the newly merged organization of enAble of Georgia, Inc. and Georgia Community Support and Solutions. The combined organization supports more than 1500 individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. InCommunity operates 46 residential homes, 6 day programs, crisis support services, respite care, family support funding, supported employment and behavioral services, nursing supports and newly added senior services. About InCommunity: Originally founded in 1979, InCommunity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency headquartered in Atlanta, was created to provide community-based services and support to people with developmental disabilities and their families. For more than 40 years, InCommunity has been embracing the abilities in all of us, building an outstanding reputation in Georgia for innovative programs and willingness to take on challenging support situations for people in their communities. Currently, InCommunity has more than 650 employees who provide all levels of support in the community to people with a variety of needs; including residential support, employment services, respite care, family support, in-home care, and day programs. Many of the individuals supported have a significant secondary disability including physical disabilities, psychiatric disabilities, seizures, hearing or vision impairments.
