Infinity Pharma Q4 Loss Narrows

(RTTNews) - Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (INFI) Tuesday said fourth-quarter loss narrowed to $32.93 million or $0.68 per share from $46.98 million or $1.15 per share in the same period last year.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.87 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Operating expenses decreased to $33.08 million from $47.13 million last year. Research and development expenses totaled $26.59 million, down from $40.02 million. General and administrative expenses amounted to $6.49 million, compared to $7.11 million last year.
