Informatica Stockholders Approve Acquisition By Permira Funds And CPPIB

(RTTNews) - Informatica Corp. (INFA) announced that its stockholders approved the previously announced acquisition of Informatica by the Permira funds and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board or CPPIB.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2015, subject to the receipt of certain regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.

In April, Data integration software provider Informatica said that it agreed to be taken private by a company controlled by private equity firm Permira Advisers LLC and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board or CPPIB for about $5.3 billion.
