Insyde® Software Ships InsydeH2O™ UEFI BIOS for the AMD Embedded G-Series Processor Family

Insyde Software, a leading provider of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware, today announced that its flagship product InsydeH2O™ UEFI BIOS supports the AMD Embedded G-Series platform featuring a discrete-class AMD Radeon™ GPU with the new x86 "Bobcat” CPU core integrated into a single Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) and will ship on many of its customer’s newest embedded platforms.

This announcement represents Insyde Software’s continued investments in support of AMD (NYSE: AMD) platforms from mobile computing solutions to embedded systems. InsydeH2O UEFI BIOS support for the AMD Embedded G-Series APUs includes features such as high-performance graphics and lower power consumption. In addition, InsydeH2O offers embedded system developers a modular firmware codebase enabling quick customizations and reduced development times.
