Integrated Silicon Solution Wins Jury Verdict In Litigation Brought By GSI Tech

(RTTNews) - Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. (ISSI) said that a jury found in favor of ISSI as to all causes of action alleged against the company by GSI Technology Inc. (GSIT).

GSI had filed suit against ISSI in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in October 2013. Following a four-week trial in San Jose, California, the jury rejected GSI's claims against ISSI, including trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition. Other GSI claims, including antitrust allegations, were dismissed in pre-trial rulings.

"We invested a lot of time and effort to defend this case. However, after more than two years plus a several week jury trial, we are very pleased with this favorable verdict," commented ISSI's President and Chief Executive Officer, Scott Howarth.

The verdict remains subject to potential post-trial motions and/or a potential appeal by GSI.
