    HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2005--

Latest technologies on display at sessions, exhibits and post conference seminar

At the MapIndia 2005 8th annual International Conference and Exhibition in New Delhi, Intergraph (NASDAQ: INGR) Mapping and Geospatial Solutions is showcasing its array of geospatial solutions that promote data sharing among applications to enable an open spatial enterprise, today through February 8th. In an open spatial enterprise, governments can share existing GIS and CAD data across their own departments or with commercial vendors without having to re-translate or re-draw data.
Dedicated to the mission of fostering the use and distribution of geospatial content, MapIndia 2005 is themed "Back-to-Basics" and focuses on technology use for India's land reform and infrastructure improvement initiatives. Demonstrations of Intergraph solutions for local, regional and national government entities; transportation and mapping agencies; commercial remote sensing and photogrammetry organizations; and military and intelligence agencies that address organization's geospatial technology needs for land reform and infrastructure improvement will be shown at Intergraph distributor, Rolta Inc.'s Booth #32.
Dr. Terry Keating, executive vice president of Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, will discuss current trends in digital photogrammetry during technology sessions at the show. He commented, "Geospatial technology is a fundamental tool that will enable Indian government agencies and private businesses to share knowledge and information. MapIndia provides a forum for industry professionals to learn about the newest advancements with digital photogrammetry, earth imaging and other geospatial technologies and share experiences on the use of these technologies to support India's current phase of economic boom."

Vision 2005 seminars feature latest technology, future trends

Intergraph and Rolta are hosting two seminars in conjunction with MapIndia. The first, "Photogrammetry and Imaging - Vision 2005", is part of MapIndia's technology track and will feature the latest technology for earth imaging and photogrammetric production. On February 10th, a post-conference technology seminar titled "Geospatial Intelligence, Imaging and Photogrammetry - Vision 2005" will be held at the Mumtaz Mahal, Hotel Taj Palace. The seminar will address topics on cutting-edge technology and cost effective solutions for imaging and map updating, enterprisewide image management, geospatial intelligence for security and defense operations, mobile solutions for defense and 3D visualization. Data exploitation demonstrations will be highlighted and will show capabilities to:

-- Facilitate generation of a common relevant operating picture (CROP) by fusing geointelligence data types including imagery, elevation, vector data, text and video capabilities

-- Improve planning and decision making using analysis and visualization

-- Share data among agencies and private companies

-- Access data and integrate it during data collection, product generation and exploitation workflows - regardless of location or format

Additionally, the demonstration of data fusion of intelligence information will show how Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) interfaces and interoperability standards promote data access and sharing. Base map vector data from Oracle Spatial, imagery and elevation data from TerraShare image management and distribution solution, and raster data from OGC Web Map Service (WMS) that displays real-time weather information will be fused with each GI data source as a layer in the CROP.
