International Rectifier Q4 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - International Rectifier Corp. (IRF) Monday said fourth-quarter loss narrowed to $6.1 million or $0.09 per share from $68.2 million or $0.99 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $1.2 million or $0.02 per share. On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.10 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues improved 3 percent to $276.5 million from $269.7 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $260.13 million.

Gross margins improved to 30 percent from 25.9 percent in the prior year quarter.

Looking ahead to the first quarter. The company has forecast revenues in the range of $260 million to $268 million. Analysts currently expect first-quarter revenues of $260.39 million.
