Internet Initiative Japan Q4 Profit Rises; Sees 23.8% Growth In FY16 Profit

(RTTNews) - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJI) reported that its fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company increased to 1.47 billion yen and 15.91 yen per ADS  from 1.01 billion yen or 10.95 yen per ADS in the same quarter last year.

Total revenues for the quarter grew to 41.27 billion yen from 35.20 billion yen in the prior year.

For fiscal year 2016, the company targets revenue to increase by 13.1% year-over-year to 159 billion yen as mobile and cloud revenue to increase to 25.5 billion yen and 16.2 billion yen respectively, other network services and systems integration revenues to accumulate continuously. It targets operating income to increase by 18.9% year-over-year to 7.3 billion yen along with the expansion of gross margin amount. It expects Net Income attributable to the company to increase 23.8% year-over-year to 5.0 billion yen.

Along with income growth, the company plan to increase its dividend for fiscal year 2016 by 5 yen to 27 yen per common share.

Under such momentum, we established middle term business plan from FY2016 to FY2020. The plan, which aims to increase the revenue to approximately JPY250 billion at FY2020 and maintain double-digit annual operating income growth YoY, is challenging one for us, yet we firmly believe the market growth opportunity is tremendous.
