Interserve Named Preferred Bidder To Build Defence Rehabilitation Facility

(RTTNews) - Construction company Interserve Plc (IRV.L) announced that it has been selected as preferred bidder to build the new 200 million British pounds defence establishment at the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC) at Stanford Hall, near Loughborough. The new Defence Rehabilitation facility is due to be operational in 2018.

The project, for BS Stanford Ltd, involves the construction of a new 37,000 square meter specialist clinical facility together with the alteration and refurbishment of the Grade II listed Stanford Hall, an Art Deco Theatre and other ancillary listed buildings as well as extensive landscaping work.

The new clinical rehabilitation center for the armed forces will combine the very latest technology with proven specialist rehabilitation expertise in defence medical services.
