Jack In The Box Holding On To Strong Gain After Early Rally

(RTTNews) - Shares of Jack In The Box Inc. (JACK) have pulled back off their best levels of the day but continue to see significant strength in afternoon trading on Monday. Jack In The Box is currently up by 2.8 percent after ending last Friday's trading at its lowest closing level in nearly a month.

Jack In The Box moved sharply higher early in the session after the restaurant chain said it is exploring a range of strategic and financing alternatives to maximize shareholder value, including a sale of the company.

The company said it has had discussions with potential buyers but noted there can be no assurance that the exploration of strategic and financing alternatives will result in a transaction.
