JAKKS Pacific Extends Global Partnership With SEGA For Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise

(RTTNews) - JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (JAKK), Monday announced the renewal of its global partnership with SEGA of America, Inc. to continue serving as the master toy partner for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

The multi-year deal, which runs through 2029, permits JAKKS to continue creating, producing, and selling action figures, playsets, plush toys, cars, and collectibles under the Sonic brand all over the world.

According to the companies, the renewed partnership will bring new, exciting products that honor the history and future of the legendary video game series.

JAKK is currently trading at $16.84, down $0.16 or 0.94 percent on the Nasdaq.
