Janus Capital Group Bottom Line Climbs 6% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Janus Capital Group (JNS) announced earnings for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $43.5 million, or $0.24 per share. This was higher than $41.2 million, or $0.22 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.23 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 5.4% to $258.9 million. This was down from $273.8 million last year.
