Jif® Peanut Butter Launches "Imagine If, With Jif" Crowdfunding Contest to Help Nourish Families' Potential

ORRVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- To spread more love and optimism for the future, Jif® Peanut Butter is supporting the small things—moments and ideas reinforcing our belief in ourselves, our potential, and the possibilities that lie ahead. Jif is helping spread a little more love in the world by launching the "Imagine If, With Jif" program to help fuel and nourish the potential of the next generation. Together with crowdfunding platform, Indiegogo and a panel of contest judges called the Jif "Parent Panel", including mother and Hollywood actress, Melissa Joan Hart, Jif will award up to $50,000 to support three families' entrepreneurial and creative ideas that have the potential to help make the world a better place for everyone.

Starting today through October 20, 2017, parents can submit their family's entrepreneurial and creative ideas on jif.com/imagine-if for a chance to receive funding and turn their ideas into reality. In partnership with Jif representatives, members of the Jif Parent Panel including Melissa Joan Hart and father and Indiegogo co-founder, Slava Rubin will review and judge submissions. Finalists will be selected based on a set of outlined criteria including their creativity, originality and alignment with the mission of Jif to empower parents and kids to make the world a better place (see official contest rules here). Following the program launch and submissions period, in November three lucky finalists will receive $10,000 from Jif and will begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. A grand prize winner will be awarded an additional $20,000 in January 2018 to further help make their dream reality.
