Juniper Networks Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Juniper Networks, Inc. (JNPR) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $151.8 million or $0.30 per share, compared to $95.7 million or $0.19 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $215.8 million or $0.43 per share, compared to $144.6 million or $0.28 per share in the prior year quarter.

Net revenues for the fourth quarter rose 12% to $1.27 billion from $1.14 billion in the same quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.37 per share on revenue of $1.22 billion for the fourth quarter. Analyst' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking forward to the first quarter, the company forecasts revenue of $1.12 billion to $1.16 billion and adjusted earnings of $0.27 to $0.30 per share. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $0.29 per share on revenue of $1.14 billion for the first quarter.
