Kronos Expands Direct Sales Network through Acquisition of NexTime

    CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 2005--In support of an ongoing effort to expand its direct sales network, Kronos(R) Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON) today announced the acquisition of certain assets of NexTime, Inc. Kronos acquired the privately held authorized dealer in a cash purchase transaction. NexTime was a Kronos dealer in the southeastern U.S., with a noteworthy strength in enterprise healthcare accounts.
    By acquiring assets of Nashville-based NexTime, Kronos now sells its workforce management solutions through its own direct sales network into additional territories throughout Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
