Laura Linehan Named Special Adviser to Portfolio Management Team

GAMCO Investors, Inc. (NYSE:GBL) announced today Laura Linehan, CFA, Co-Portfolio Manager of the sub-advised Teton Westwood Mighty Mites Fund^SM (the Fund), has accepted a consulting role with the firm. Ms. Linehan originally joined GAMCO as a research analyst covering the Broadcast and Publishing sectors and was subsequently promoted to its Director of Research in 1999. She has been a co-Portfolio manager of the Fund since February 1998. Ms. Linehan will continue to follow a basket of companies and contribute investment ideas to the team of portfolio managers that currently is comprised of Adam Trivison, CFA; Joseph Gabelli; Sarah Donnelly and Mario J. Gabelli, CFA, as well as the research analysts of the firm.
