Legg Mason Inc. Bottom Line Climbs 40% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Legg Mason Inc. (LM) revealed earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $158.53 million, or $1.45 per share. This was up from $113.07 million, or $0.98 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 8.3% to $659.56 million. This was down from $718.98 million last year.
