M.D.C. Holdings Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - M.D.C. Holdings Inc. (MDC) reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $36.3 million, or $0.73 per share, from $20.1 million, or $0.41 per share, last year.

Home sale revenues increased 35% to $433.7 million, from $320.6 million prior year. The company said the increase in revenues resulted from a 21% increase in homes delivered to 1,257 homes as compared to 1,039 in the prior year and a 12% increase in average selling price to $345 thousand. Analysts expected revenue of $418.33 million for the quarter.
