MC Shipping Inc. (AMEX: MCX) announced today the opening of its newly established office in Singapore, which will be headed by the Company’s local Managing Director, Mark Jewell. Mark brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in the Asian shipping market working in Hong Kong, Philippines and Singapore. His most recent position since 1997 was the Managing Director of V.Ships (Commercial) Pte Ltd. The Singapore office will assist the Company in developing relationships with its existing customers in Asia and establishing new relationships for the group in the traditional ship owning as well as ship operating and services sectors.
