The McLeod IT team is taking a proactive approach to electronically record patient information in their databases. Systems Engineer Jerrod McKee reviewed several storage solutions for the facility's new digital data. Dell PowerVault, EMC and HP were some of McKee's contenders to run their new VMware Environment.

Ultimately, McKee decided StorTrends was the best fit for McLeod based on the team's expertise and superior support. "I've worked in IT for about 12 years, and I've never had that quality of support before. It's the way other companies need to look at operating," McKee said.

Today, McLeod uses the StorTrends array to run all their new virtual machines. "It's a single point of contact for all our virtual hosts. If we lose one virtual host, we want the virtual machine to migrate and continue running on one of our other virtual hosts," McKee said.
