MicroStrategy Inc. Q4 Income Drops 20%

(RTTNews) - MicroStrategy Inc. (MSTR) released earnings for fourth quarter that lost ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings dropped to $31.12 million, or $2.69 per share. This was down from $39.11 million, or $3.38 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $2.50 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 2.4% to $140.11 million. This was down from $143.52 million last year.
