Millennium Cell Executive Appointed Chief Technology Officer
Millennium Cell Inc. (NASDAQ: MCEL), a leading developer of hydrogen
battery technology, today announced that Dr. Richard M. Mohring, 35, has
been appointed to Chief Technology Officer, a newly-created position.
Dr. Mohring has held scientific and leadership roles within Millennium
Cell since January 2000, and has had extensive experience with hydrogen
storage and fuel cell technologies, particularly with chemical hydride
systems. Dr. Mohring currently leads Millennium Cell’s
technical team of over 25 scientists and engineers responsible for
development of innovative hydrogen battery systems. Dr. Mohring has
served as Principal Investigator on numerous Department of Defense and
Department of Energy development programs and subcontracts awarded to
Millennium Cell.
"Rick has consistently demonstrated exceptional technical leadership
during his service to the company. He is a prolific inventor and expert
in several technical disciplines that are invaluable to our product

Prior to joining Millennium Cell, Dr. Mohring co-founded Pixelligent
Technologies LLC, a company that focuses on the development of
technology advancements in semiconductor lithography. He currently holds
7 U.S. patents with multiple pending applications. Dr. Mohring received
a B.S. in Applied Physics from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an
M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from University of Maryland.
