Millicom International Cellular: Millicom appoints HL Rogers as Executive Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer

Millicom (STO:MIC) today announces the appointment of HL Rogers as its Executive Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. He assumes the role on 1 August, 2016

HL Rogers joins Millicom as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a world-class compliance program. In this new role, Rogers will work with Millicom’s existing ethics and compliance team and report to Millicom’s Chief Executive Officer, Mauricio Ramos, as well as the recently created Business Ethics and Compliance Committee of the Board.  

Rogers brings a wealth of experience in managing compliance programs, strengthening compliance policies and procedures, as well as conducting training and development. Currently, Rogers is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, representing individual, corporate and government clients in compliance issues and complex commercial litigation. Mr Rogers received his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 2004 and has published several articles on compliance and ethics within the corporate setting.
