National Planning Corporation(R) Promotes Kirsten Bosch and Craig Lewis

National Planning Corporation (NPC) today announced the promotion of Kirsten Bosch to first vice president of branch development and Craig Lewis to vice president of marketing. As head of branch development, Ms. Bosch, 34, coordinates all aspects of the transition process for new offices joining the firm. As VP of marketing, Mr. Lewis, 45, is responsible for NPC’s corporate brand and communicating the firm’s competitive advantages through advertisements, recruiting materials and strategic industry contacts. In her expanded role, Ms. Bosch will assume additional new business development responsibilities formerly handled by NPC’s SVP of new business development, Bonnie Schab, who has retired. Ms. Bosch will work directly with Scott Romine, NPC’s newly appointed president, who will oversee the firm’s recruiting efforts. Ms. Bosch has been with NPC since the firm’s inception in 1998 and was instrumental in the implementation of NPC’s training and transition programs. Her responsibilities in the firm’s branch development area advanced progressively throughout her career, with a promotion to AVP in 2003 and advancement to vice president in 2005. "Kirsten was part of NPC’s original home office team and has made a significant contribution to the company’s growth and success over the past nine years,” said NPC president Scott Romine. "Kirsten’s exceptional talent for building relationships and her broad knowledge of the business make her the ideal candidate to lead the firm’s branch development efforts.” Mr. Lewis joined NPC in 2001, initially working in a support capacity for NPC’s former president and CEO, Shawn Dreffein, and former SVP Bonnie Schab. He was promoted to marketing manager in 2002, advanced to marketing director the following year and was appointed NPC’s AVP of marketing in 2005. In his new position, Mr. Lewis has executive responsibility for the production and distribution of NPC’s marketing collateral, including direct mail, and also helps establish and maintain the firm’s relationships with key industry contacts. "Craig has taken tremendous initiative throughout his career to help shape NPC’s marketing strategies and bring fresh ideas to the table for our advertising campaigns,” said Romine. "His creativity and positive attitude have been the keys to his success and make him a valuable asset to the team. With Craig leading our marketing efforts, I’m confident that NPC’s image is in extremely capable hands.” Prior to joining NPC, Ms. Bosch worked for OPEL, a division of General Motors’ European marketing team. She was born in Breisach, Germany and moved to the United States in 1991, where she attended Biola University in La Miranda, Calif. and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She holds NASD Series 7 and 24 registrations. Mr. Lewis came to NPC from WellPoint Health Networks in Woodland Hills, Calif., where he supported the company’s chief of staff and chairman and CEO from 1992-2000. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. About National Planning Holdings, Inc. Santa Monica, Calif.-based National Planning Holdings, Inc.
