NCI Building Profit Tops Estimates, Sales Misses

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems Inc (NCS) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $7.2 million or $0.10 per share compared with $6 million or $0.08 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.15 per share compared with $0.10 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $420.8 million compared with $361.6 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.14 per share on revenues of $442.3 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company expects its fourth quarter revenues to grow sequentially.
