NCI Building Systems Reports 13% Retreat In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - NCI Building Systems (NCS) reported earnings for fourth quarter that fell compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $19.79 million, or $0.28 per share. This was lower than $22.66 million, or $0.31 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.31 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.5% to $480.31 million. This was up from $459.83 million last year.
