New Media Investment Group Posts Q4 EPS Of $0.30

(RTTNews) - New Media Investment Group Inc. (NEWM), Thursday announced a fall in fourth quarter net income attributable to the successor new media of $11.46 million compared to $955.41 million last year. On a per share basis, earnings were $0.30, while the combined company recorded a basic earnings per share attributable of $31.85.

Total revenue for the successor company increased 16.5 percent to $186.79 million from revenue to the combined company of $160.35 million. On a same store basis, the company recorded 1.2 percent increase in sales.

New Media's Board of Directors declared a fourth quarter cash dividend of $0.30 payable March 19, to shareholders on record March 11, 2015.
